Megan Morse

Administrative Assistant

Megan joined Gulf Coast Community Foundation in 2025 as the Administrative Assistant. With a background in community outreach, program coordination, and administrative support, Megan brings both professionalism and heart to her role. She has worked in the nonprofit field since 2014, supporting programs that strengthen communities and create meaningful connections.

Originally from a southwest suburb of Chicago, Megan earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and has dedicated much of her career to service-oriented roles that uplift and empower others. She moved to Florida in 2021 and is passionate about creating organized, welcoming environments where both staff and community partners can thrive.

Now proud to call Venice home, Megan enjoys teaching piano lessons, reading, cooking delicious recipes (and eating them just as much!), spending time at the beach, and walking her sweet Maltipoo, Opal. A fun fact about Megan— she was crowned Miss Shorewood, Illinois in 2004, a memory that still brings a smile. These days, she jokes that she's still waiting for her "Miss Venice" crown! Megan is so grateful to be part of Gulf Coast’s mission of transforming the region through generosity and community collaboration.
